A Safe Place for All to Remember Those Who Are Gone but Still in Our Hearts

Ben Lesser is a survivor of one of the most horrific events in the modern world’s history. He and his sister are the sole survivors of their family of 7, the remainder of whom perished in Hitler’s infamous death camps. Ben has been a spokesperson for Holocaust victims ever since his liberation from the camp in hopes that no one will ever experience that hatred again.

Always Remembering the Holocaust

Through the Zachor Foundation, survivors have been able to bravely tell their stories to help the world know that the hatred they lived through did not keep them from not just surviving but prospering. For those that did not get out alive, one of the principal goals of the Zachor Foundation is to remember those who are not able to tell their stories.

How You Can Remember

Listen and Read Online Lessons

Ben’s StoryFile is a way for teachers and parents to learn along with children or for individual study. Ben answers the questions of students, readers, and supporters accompanied by pictures and other primary source documents to give a better understanding of history as told through the lens of his story. Though millions of Holocaust victims did not live to see the progress being made in their names, they are part of working to make the world a better place through the uplifting of their stories.
